I’m an integrative counsellor where I work with a relational, empathic and non-judgemental approach.
I combine Psychodynamic and Humanistic approaches to tailor therapy to suit your needs, helping to provide insight where you might be struggling.
The psychodynamic approach helps to explore your unconscious and past experiences to help understand how you relate to yourself and others. It can shed light on beliefs and patterns which no longer serve you, causing you to feel unfulfilled in the present.
The Humanistic approach focuses on your potential and growth, how you feel in the here and now and what you can do to develop and create a more fulfilling and self-actualized future.
I am also trained in Interpersonal Psychotherapy where I can offer focused, highly structured time-limited sessions (typically between 12-16 sessions).
We’re all unique and experience life in our own ways and I believe we know ourselves the best - my role is to help you find your answers by helping you reflect, explore and gain insight on issues and patterns of behaviour which might be hindering your growth.
